Sweet 16 Singles Playing Rules

1. Open to bowlers 18 years of age or more.

2. Qualifying will be based on a 4 game qualifying format. The top 14 scores on Saturday will make the 16 bowler bracket. The top 2 scores on Sunday will make the 16 bowler bracket. Scores will be sorted in order and bowlers will be seeded accordingly.

3. Payout will be at least 1 in 5 for both Saturday and Sunday's squads. Bowlers can still cash if they do not make Bracket Finals. You can only cash once in each event.

4. Tournament is handicap, 80% of 220. A maximum of 40 pins of handicap will be used. Bowlers can obtain minus handicap.

5. Entering averages will be based off 616 Average List. If you are not rated, please contact Tournament Director. Tournament Director reserves the right to re-rate a bowler at any time. If you do not cash in the Sweet 16 Singles, your rating will drop 1 pin.

6. Entry cost is $60 for first entry into tournament event. A re-entry of $50 is available after first entry is paid. The last chance squad re-entry will be $40. You must be paid prior to the start of practice for that squad. Tardiness is unacceptable.

7. The finals will be a 16 bowler, double elimination bracket seeded by 4 game qualifying score. The champion of the event will be the last bowler in the bracket who has not lost more than once.

8. Personal conduct will consist of no swearing, hitting, abusing or interfering with those around you. At least a $10 fine will be charged and up to disqualification if deemed necessary. Tournament director has the right to ban a bowler for life

9. You must notify tournament director if you have held a PBA card the past 3 years or cashed in any PBA event.

10. There is a one lane courtesy.

11. All bowlers are eligible for 300 game pot with a $5 entry. The $5 entry will be divided 50/50 for high game and 300 game pot. All bowlers who pay the $5 entry are eligible for an award of recognition for all honor scores bowled. A 300 game trophy will be given for each 300 game bowled.
Honor Scores: 800 series; 300, 299, 298 and 11 in a row.

12. No Dress Code. Please dress bowling appropriate.

13. Bowlers will be paid once score sheets are turned in and verified. Any errors on score sheets will result in a $5 fine and must be paid prior to entering another 616 Tournament.

14. The Champion will receive at least $599 for 1st place. If entries pushes 1st place prize above $599, the champion must fill out a tax form.

15. The Tournament Director will decide all questions not covered in the Tournament rules.
